You will also be given information to assist in registering the products and it is the responsibility of the homeowner to register the products that require registration. An Overview of Your New Home’s Warranty Protection from StrucSure Home Warranty
Because of our commitment to quality and service, we have included a 1-2-10-Year Warranty on your new home. Your warranty coverage is administered by StrucSure Home Warranty, a company that provides insurance-backed new-home warranties to builders across the United States. Like many types of insurance, the hope is you will never need it, but if a problem emerges, you’ll be glad you’re covered.

1, 2, & 10-YEAR WARRANTY
This multi-part warranty program includes the following components:
- The one-year warranty provides surety coverage and backs the builder’s warranty on defects in workmanship and materials. Covered components of a home that do not meet established Performance Standards during the first year will be repaired, replaced, or paid for under our warranty in the event the builder is unable to do so or is in default.
- The two-year warranty provides surety coverage and backs the builder’s warranty on defects in the wiring, piping, and ductwork in the electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling, ventilating, and mechanical systems. Covered components of a home that do not meet the established Performance Standards during the first two years will be repaired, replaced, or paid for under our warranty in the event the builder is unable to do so or is in default.
- The 10-year structural warranty provides direct coverage from the day of closing for major structural defects. If a major structural defect occurs within the 10-year warranty term, it will be repaired, replaced, or paid for by StrucSure Home Warranty.

One year workmanship warranty
Covers any items deemed to have been placed or installed in the home that does not meet the NAHB Residential Construction Performance Guidelines.
The workmanship warranty offers 1-year coverage on workmanship and materials relating to various components of the home, which occurred during the construction period.
This warranty is offered to the purchaser to resolve any workmanship issues that may arise within 1 year of the purchase date; however, this warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, such as: caulking backsplashes and tile, paint touch ups, minor cracking from shrinkage in sheetrock and moldings.
Hairline cracking in concrete flatwork is not warranted and is expected with the extreme weather and soil conditions experienced in Texas.
If a defect occurs on an item during the 1-year warranty period, and the item is covered by the workmanship warranty, the Builder will repair or replace the defective item.
